Scalp Acne Remedies? Any advice appreciated!?

I have thick curly long unmanagable hair. I wash it every 2-3 days when it is straight, and then proceed to straighten it Which takes 1.5 hours. If i leave my hair curly, i need to use gel so that i look like a part of the human race. Otherwise bozo would look good next to me. I am developing acne on my head recently. I do not know if it is because i leave my hair 2-3 days when straight, or because of the gel when curly. How do i get rid of the acne? It is making me lose my hair
