Athiests, have you ever thought of creating a system of morals based purely on logic and reasoning?

I just thought doing something like that will help prove to the world that atheists are also good people too. Usually logical or rational behavior is also moral behavior. Another idea would be to base morals on secular philosophers like Kant, Plato, or Nietzche. As an atheist myself, I think it's important we come to a consensus on a secular code of morals to prove that were not selfish and hedonistic like most religious people think.
