Is it normal for a sixteen year old to like advanced literature?

Ever since i was in the sixth grade i have had a high reading comprehension level. It all started when i scored around a 8.5 or 9th grade reading level (that being the lowest ) up to 25.5. This is based on grade level. I do not even know if there is a grade that high. Like i said at that time i was in the 6th grade. Now I'm going into the tenth grade, and I've noticed something. Most kids are not reading the books i am reading. Books i like for example are, philosophy like Plato, and Aristotle to name some of my favorites. Astrology, poetry and some sciences that i find interesting. Is this normal? I have noticed that even the kids in grades higher than me are not even remotely interested in the same books as i am. I also like works of fiction such as War & Peace. Am i a social weirdo or is my school and surrounding area just not filled with intellectual people. I am starting to feel very weird.
