What kids show was this?

I don't remember when it came out but I know it came on during or after bozo the clown. It starred a little yellow car that talked and hatched from an egg at a junk yard and before it hatched while being smashed a little boy saved it. Sorry the details are vague but I really can't remember much but hopefully someone can tell me what it's called. 10 points awarded to the person with the right answer!
